Swantech Industries is a family-run business. We started out in the lawn care industry and needed something to do in the winter. I (Richard Klassen) used to work as a truck mechanic, which included some welding and fabrication, so shop work is something I am very familiar with. Of course, it is the customer’s choice, but we feel like we offer a product that is unique and superior to anyone else. I think more people know what a compact tractor tree spade is than what a grapple attachment for tractors is. Either way, once you have one of these products, it becomes a necessity. We build and offer grapples for compact and sub-compact tractors for sale. We also build and offer the Kompact tree spade for sale, designed to fit any tractor or skid steer with pallet forks. We also have built a few custom-size grapples for larger tractors.
My dad, Alvin Klassen, started the grapple business in December of 2015. I started supplying him with wiring harnesses at first and slowly worked into building the whole machine! We strive for quality products and workmanship. We endeavour to provide honest answers to our customers as well as listen to suggestions they may have.
